Initial proposal
Working Title: - My initial title is to investigate the electro etching process to enhance the Non-toxic Printmaking studio Practice.
Focus: - Already in the 21st century we find references to harmful effects to the health of the etcher of the vapours rising from acids. New etching fluids, which were said to be safer, were developed in the 19th, 20th centuries. There was a profound awareness in the past that acids and other chemicals affected the printmaker’s health.
The health of the printmaker is burdened by the chemicals he uses. These can harm skin and eyes. They can enter the body through the skin, by swallowing and by inhalation. Damage to skin and eyes and penetration through the skin can be easily prevented by wearing proper clothing, rubber gloves and face protection. It is obvious that chemicals should not be swallowed. Do not drink, eat or smoke in the studio, wash your face and rinse your mouth when leaving. Preventing inhalation, however, is the most serious problem. Using masks and exhaust hoods help, but is not fully effective, is expensive and limits your activities. Better is it to fight the problems at the source and change to alternatives for acids and solvents which produce aggressive gasses and aerosols.
Audience: -         Students and Teachers of the Art institute, professional printmakers in Thailand & Pakistan.
Key Words: -        Non-toxic –Traditional-awareness- environmental-sustainable-electro etching-    printmaking-studio Practice.
Topic: -               Etching without Acid.
Research Question:-
1. How to replace toxic methods and materials into non-toxic printmaking studio practice?
Project aim:-
The goal for this project is to work on safe techniques and materials that can replace hazardous chemicals and oil-based inks without sacrificing the desired outcomes of printmaking processes. This research aims to promote awareness of non-toxiclow-cost, and easily attainable resources.

  1. Fazal at this stage I need only three single sentences from you.

1 a single sentence title (one sentence that includes your topic, focus and audience). Your current title is unclear in that studio practice might be different from classroom practice.

No need for any contextual information!!!!!! One sentence right?!:)

2 More work on your research question to make it more focused.

3 Single sentence aim. This is getting there but needs clarification: what do you mean by desired outcomes?

Three sentences ... three really good sentences :)
