Initial proposal

Working Title:-
I am  investigating the safe printmaking with Non-toxic practice by Etching without Acid which is needed to explore and save the health of all concern practitioners of Pakistan’s printmaking Art institutions from the hazards of acids and solvents which produce aggressive gasses and aerosols.

Research Question:-
How to investigate the safe printmaking with nontoxic by Etching without Acid and explore safe alternatives to Toxic printmaking processes in Pakistan’s printmaking art institutions?

Project aim:-
This project aims to (1) Raise Awareness about demonstrate safe alternatives to Toxic printmaking processes to Pakistan’s printmaking Art institutions.

Objective #1
(I need to) investigate the differences between other Nontoxic methods and etching without acids.

Objective #2
(I need to) evaluate other relevant research into the use of nontoxic safe Printmaking.

Objective #3
(I need to) understand the major theories of safe alternatives to Toxic printmaking processes by electro etching method.

Objective #4
(I need to) understand theories of safe alternatives Printmaking more generally.

  1. Ok ... let's move ... this is much better I think overall. I have the following observations to make/ questions to ask now.

    1 Title
That is not a title (yet). It has the component parts but not the right register (style) or structure. Look at the example I gave you: "An investigation into ..."

    2 Research question
Are you researching 'how to investigate' safe printing methods (i.e. is this a project about methodology)? Or are you investigating how safe printing methods can be applied in the particular context of Pakistani Higher Education?

    3 Aim
Is you aim to raise awareness about only safety or also aesthetic possibilities? (this is a genuine question! one things that is gone missing a little from this proposal overall is the potential of producing great print works in a safe manner)

    4 Objectives
I think objective 2 is urgent! Who else has published research about safe printing. This is a big part of your contextual review and maybe should be your main focus now.

If you can answer these questions in a new blog post I'll respond later today!

    1. Hi ... one last thought ... "I think objective 2 is urgent!" one area of your contextual map should be existing research (MA and PhD theses and books) that explore safe printing. Start by making a list (bibliography) and quick notes (review) of the most relevant of these (four to six key texts is fine) ... do this really quickly ... finish this really quickly (a couple of hours should be enough) and post the list and quick descriptions on the blog. This would give you a really good foundation
